About HomeNode
Curated guides for readers who already know what they like.
HomeNode is a curated collection of home tech and homelab gear guides. We don’t cover every product — we focus on the categories where the decision actually matters (NAS, mesh Wi-Fi, smart-home hubs, home server hardware) and where buying the wrong thing costs real money.
How we write
We don’t publish daily news posts. Each guide is written, reviewed, and updated by the editorial team when the underlying products, prices, or recommendations meaningfully change. If a guide on this site is more than six months old, it has been recently re-checked.
How we make money
Many of our guides include affiliate links to retailers (primarily Amazon). When a reader buys a product through one of those links, we receive a small commission at no extra cost to the reader. These commissions are how the site stays free to read. We do not accept paid placements, sponsored reviews, or pay-to-play category inclusion.
See our Affiliate Disclaimer for full details.
Who runs HomeNode
HomeNode is a property of Auburn AI Editorial, based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. We focus on home tech, homelab, smart-home, and connected-device guides for buyers who want fewer choices but better-evaluated ones.
